1. Who Does Haru End Up With?

Haruyuki Arita ends Up with Kuroyukihime in Accel World. In chapter 10 of the 26th volume of Accel World, Haru finally confesses his love to Kuroyukihime, which she reciprocates with a kiss.

In chapter 10, we see Haru and Kuroyukihime stepping out of their taxi arranged by Megumi in an attempt to set them up in the earlier chapter.

The duo buys some drinks at the shopping center and enters Haru’s condo on the 23rd floor. After a while, Haru mentally prepares himself to propose to Kuroyukihime but is interrupted by her.

Kuroyukihime informs Haru that both Graph and Lead have gone away to Mount Fuji’s Unlimited Neutral Field to train further. Haru then thinks about whether to go there, but the thought frightens him.

Haru apologizes to Kuroyukihime for not telling her about his transfer to the White Legion. The to-be couple has a heart-to-heart, and Haru realizes that up until now, he had a ‘solemn awareness’ that he was Kuroyukihime’s child, which created an invisible wall between the two.

This wall was why he could not confess to Kuroyukihime even after she told him that she liked him. He then remembers the incident that led to the to-be couple bathing together a week earlier.

He realizes that on a subconscious level, he always thought of Kuroyukihime as her ‘parent’, which led to him not being able to stay true to his feelings.

After this realization, he musters up all the courage and finally proposes to Kuroyukihime. Haru says, “Kuroyukihime. I like you. Not as a Burst Linker, but as me, Haruyuki Arita. I like you, Sayuki Kuroba”.

After hearing this, tears welled up in Kuroyukihime’s eyes, and while crying, she said, “I do, too. I like you, too”.
