Dying Light 2’s In-Game Redeeming & Co-Op Fixes Top Priority for Devs

Dying Light 2 was released yesterday across platforms, and the game has been a big hit amongst fans and the gaming community. It was so well received that it outpaced the first game’s initial player numbers. However, there are some launch pains that have to be sorted, and developer Techland has issued an announcement regarding the bugs people are encountering.

A tweet from yesterday has spoken about some of the major issues players face in Dying Light 2 and assures them that the developers are working on fixes for them. This is following up on the news of the day one patch for the game having over a thousand fixes.

Techland has asked players who have early copies to wait for the release date, as there would be many fixes coming with the previously mentioned patch. There is also a mega-thread over on the Dying Light subreddit where players are listing all the issues and bugs they have encountered in the game so far. Many fans are hopeful that Techland will be able to see the list and accordingly work towards improving the game.

Dying Light 2 is the sequel to 2015 first-person zombie survival that became a massive hit in the gaming community. Taking control of a new protagonist, Aiden Caldwell, players will have to explore the vast city of Old Villedor in a quest to track down Aiden’s sister and learn more about what happened in the city.

Many mechanics from the first game see a return in Dying Light 2, but there are also some new aspects of the game that fans are eager to try out. The bugs and issues are a slight hiccup in what would have been a perfect launch, but every game has first-day issues that need to be resolved. We just hope that Techland is able to quickly fix the problems plaguing the game so players can go back to enjoying the world as was intended.

About Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a sequel to Techland’s 2015 open-world, zombie parkour action-adventure title Dying Light.

The game puts you in the shoes of Aiden Caldwell and is set 20 years after the first game’s events. You will be based in the City, located in Europe, and have free reign of the map and how you wish to traverse the area. Parkour will be your most used form of transport in the game, and the crafting system is also making a return.

There is also a decision system where your choices through the story affect the world around you. This could lead to more opportunities to earn resources, unlock shortcuts, and, most importantly, make the lives of those in the City more easy or difficult.
