FromSoftware President hints at an undiscovered Elden Ring secret

Elden Ring was released in February 2022 and went beyond the typical Dark Souls game. Made by From Software in collaboration with George R R Martin, the game is rich in lore and, as a result, practically has a world hidden inside it.

In an interview with IGN, FromSoftware’s President Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed that one tiny element in the Elden Ring has not yet been discovered. Miyazaki made it even more ambiguous by suggesting that the undiscovered element is up to “user interpretation or up to further investigation and playing.”

To irk player interest even more, Miyazaki said that the small missing element would be found sooner rather than later. He reinstated and reinforced that something was missing that had not yet been found by the community.

This announcement from Miyazaki has caused the entire Elden Ring fanbase to go wild theorizing. One of the most considerable suspicions is targeted toward the emotes in Elden Ring, which probably unlocks hidden dialogues when performed in front of specific NPCs.

Given that George R.R. Martin developed the lore, there’s a heavy chance that the hidden fact might be lore-related. This is highly probable as data miners have already uncovered all other pieces of quests and in-game artifacts in the two years since the game was released.

A majority of the fanbase is joking that “poking” every wall in-game does not sound like a bad idea to unravel the small secret that Miyazaki has mentioned. With the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC coming up in a few months, there might be more secrets to uncover still.
