Toei Animation Reveals Sequel Film for ‘Expelled From Paradise’: Rakuen Tsuiho

Toei Animation revealed that it is producing a new feature-length anime film sequel to ‘Expelled from Paradise’: Rakuen Tsuihō: Kokoro no Resonance. It was announced at its “Virtual Anime Fes” livestream event.

The teaser trailer features Angela Blanc as she struggles to walk through snow in a storm. We also briefly see Dingo’s guitar in the video.

The staff also revealed a key visual for the film featuring the main character, Angela Blanc.

The original movie projects rarely ever get a direct sequel. Usually, the production companies move on to new projects. However, this was one of the best sci-fi mecha stories that was almost on par with Gundam. It will be a great watch.

About Expelled From Paradise

Expelled from Paradise is a 2014 Japanese anime science fiction film. The film is directed by Seiji Mizushima, with a screenplay written by Gen Urobuchi. The series is set to receive a sequel film.

Most of humanity has evolved into an existence where each being is turned into data that composes their personalities living inside Deva, an utopian society which governs its individuals through a virtual reality interface in a base above earth´s atmosphere. The continuous interference of a hacker from planet Earth called Frontier Setter is seen as threat and Deva sends security agent Angela Balzac to deal with it. She will have the assistance of Dingo, a terrestrian agent who refused to join Deva.
