Elden Ring’s Latest Update 1.10.1 improves its in-game anti-cheating system

Elden Ring is a popular game with a massive community. With that said, FromSoftware is very much dedicated to improving the overall gameplay experience, bringing out regular updates from time-to-time. These updates have fixed bugs, responded to valuable feedback and introduced new NPCs, quests, and PvP modes.

Elden Ring just got its first update of 2024. Update 1.10.1 will target the Steam version of Elden Ring with an improvement to the Easy Anti-Cheat system “to support the Steam OS update”. It is mandatory for anyone who wishes to play Elden Ring Online.

While this does not entirely eliminate cheaters from the game, it surely helps the situation. Unfortunately, you will just have to make peace with the fact that cheaters will always be a part of online gaming.

Elden Ring completes two years in February next month. One can assume that the developers have something in mind to mark this special occasion. Fans have been waiting patiently for the new Elden Ring DLC called Shadow of the Erdtree. Rumors suggest that it might be launched pretty soon in February.

Elden Ring is already a beloved game within the gaming community. With the upcoming DLC, it is sure to bring in numbers of new players. Who knows, it might even bag a few nominations at this year’s Game Awards.

Shadow of the Erdtree does not have a trailer or any promo other than what was announced over a year ago. Taking all this into consideration, it seems very unlikely that the DLC will be available in February. However, FromSoftware is yet to announce an official release date so don’t get your hopes up!
