After receiving nearly 4.2 million votes, the legendary Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze was voted the most favorite character in NARUTOP99 Worldwide Character Popularity Poll.
After the results were out in April, Masashi Kishimoto announced that he was working on a new one-shot manga featuring Minato. However, the exact date was not revealed, now!
The new Minato one-shot manga will be coming out on July 18, 2023, in Issue 33 of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The manga will be 55 pages long and is titled “Naruto Gaiden – Uzu no Naka no Tsumujikaze”.
This one-shot will mostly be focusing on Minato’s Yellow Flash techniques and will probably reveal the secret behind them. Minato was a great character with remarkable techniques.
Minato’s techniques had great potential, however, the original series never really concentrated on them. The one-shot might be a great way to finally explore his extraordinary technique. If everything goes well, this manga might hit the ball out of the park!
