This arc sets the stage for Takemichi’s journey as he strives to alter the present by changing events in the past.

Moebius Arc

The Moebius Arc, also known as the Battle of 8/3 Arc, is the second story arc of the Tokyo Revengers manga, spanning chapters 13 to 33.

Takemichi and Naoto go to talk to Osanai, the once leader of the gang Moebius. Confronting him inside a restaurant, Naoto asks him about Draken’s death, to which Osanai eventually gives in.

He says that the incident of August 3rd, which started the infightings in the Tokyo Manji Gang, was all planned by someone. Naoto deduces that someone will try to make Mikey and Draken fight each other, for which Takemichi decides to go to the past and stop this from happening.

After time jumping, he advises Mikey to call the fight off. Mikey tells him that since he has already decided, he will not stop before crushing Moebius. Hearing this, Takemichi kneels down saying that this would end Toman. Draken stops Pah-chin and suggests looking more into Moebius.

Toman eventually ends up fighting Moebius, and instead of Draken dying, Pah-chin kills Osanai this time, going to jail.

Valhalla Arc

The arc begins with the aftermath of the conflict with Moebius. After the accident that led to Atsushi Sendo and Hinata Tachibana’s death, Takemichi decides to return to the past after her burial.

Upon his return, Takemichi is taken to a meeting with Toman, where he discovers that Tetta Kisaki has become a member of Toman at Mikey’s behest.

Keisuke Baji decides to leave the first division of Toman and join the rival gang Valhalla which was made by Hanma, the person responsible for Mikey’s Brother’s death, after his release from jail.

With these problems becoming bigger, Mikey proposes to Takemichi to bring Baji back to Toman, so if he succeeds, Kisaki will be removed from Toman. During Bloody Halloween, Baji attempts to stop Kisaki, but Kisaki and Hanma convince Kazutora to stab him as planned.

Though the Tokyo Manji Gang wins, Takemichi is unable to prevent Baji’s death. Moreover, Valhalla is absorbed into the group, and Kisaki uses their defeat to raise his status within the Tokyo Manji Gang.

When Takemichi returns from the past, things are worse than before as Kisaki kills Chifuyu in front of Takemichi and almost killed Takemichi but is saved by Naoto in the nick of time.

2. Season 2 / Christmas Showdown Arc

Toman has been taken over by Kisaki, Mikey is missing, and several members have been killed.

Kazutora rescues Takemichi and leads him to Naoto, who explains the possible people who made this future come true. After seeing a video of himself ordering to kill Hinata Tachibana, Takemichi decides to return to the past.

Upon his return, Takemichi meets Hakkai Shiba, one of the members who caused the future of Toman. However, twelve years earlier, Hakkai seemed to be a friendly person.

The Goal this time was to Stop Hakkai from Killing Taiju and Joining Black Dragon. Taiju viewed Hakkai as weak-minded and beat him while saying that his physical and verbal abuse were actions of love.

He forced Hakkai to join Black Dragon, to protect his sister, Yuzuha, from Taiju’s clutches.

After Takemichi succeeds in his goal, he goes to the future to only be horrified, as this reality was worse than any other. Mikey had killed every core Toman Member and was about to kill Takemichi as well. Naoto kills Mikey however, and Takemichi swears that he will save Mikey and everyone else.
