With its release on Netflix on November 3, 2023, ‘Blue Eye Samurai’ quickly became a fan favorite with a unique and ‘Gory’ animation style, violent storyline, and more.

After binging all 8 episodes of the first season, I craved more action in ‘BES’ style. I wanted to know if the anime will have a second season.

1. Will Season 2 Of Blue Eye Samurai be Aired on Netflix?

Netflix has not officially announced the making of Blue Eye Samurai Season 2. However, season 1 received a fantastic response from fans and critics, and there’s a lot of potential for further storytelling. So, a second season will definitely be animated.

The first season received a lot of positive feedback from the audiences, and the anime quickly reached the top anime of Netflix in 2023, so there’s no reason to skip the second season.

2. What will be the plot of season two?

Season 2 of the anime will have Mizu continue the search for her Father. The last episode of season 1 showed Mizu traveling by sea to London searching for her Potential Father.

In the last episode, the protagonist, Mizu, fights the man she believes to be her Father; after she defeats Fowler, he gives Mizu information about her other potential fathers; in exchange, the former spares his life.

According to Fowler, after learning this information, Mizu sets on a journey to the sea, potentially heading to London, where her fathers are.

The upcoming season’s plot will be centered around this storyline, with Mizu finding and fighting her potential father, who is now in London.

3. When will it be released?

Fans can expect the second season of Blue Eye Samurai to be released in late 2024 or fall 2025.

Considering the second season hasn’t even been announced yet. The season hasn’t begun animating, and overall production has not commenced. It’s a safe bet that the anime will come out next year or early 2025.
