On his journey, he meets a young girl whose village was burned down, and a samurai abducted her parents. He takes the responsibility of protecting her while on his mission.

However, there seems to be an external force that loathes the samurai and wishes to exterminate them. There will be many hurdles in Miyamoto’s path, and he struggles with his conscience as well.

The series seems promising as Miyamoto is modeled after the great icon Toshiro Mifune. Directed by Takashi Miike, one of the best-known Japanese directors of all time.

On top of that, the historical setting adds this air of mystery and revives the spirit of samurai, which you will really enjoy.

This series might ring a few bells; it reminds me of Demon Slayer. If you’re a fan of its vivid breath techniques and supernatural demons, you’re bound to love this series as well.
