Where to Stream Vinland Saga Season 2 and What to Expect?

Thorfinn’s story will continue in the second season of Vinland Saga, the anime adaptation of Makoto Yukimura’s manga. The excitement is quite obvious as there are only a few hours left for its premiere.

With Thorfinn’s nemesis Askeladd eliminated by Canute, there is nothing left to drive him forward. Taken away by Canute’s army, the upcoming season will reveal where Thorfinn’s fate takes him.

Season 2 of Vinland Saga will premiere on Tokyo MX, BS 11, and GBS channels in Japan on January 9, 2023, followed by AT-X on the next day. It will also be available for streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll on January 9, 2023, with new episodes to be released every Monday.

Vinland Saga Season 2 | OFFICIAL TRAILER 3

The first season was produced by WIT Studio and ran for 24 episodes. The series will follow the same 24-episode pattern, this time produced by MAPPA.

This season will certainly cover the ‘Slave Arc’ as some characters have been already introduced in the trailer. The arc will tell the story of Einar, who meets Thorfinn at a farm owned by the landowner Ketil. Both Einar and Thorfinn were sold as slaves.

Snake, who is in charge of the farm, helps Thorfinn with coming to terms with his past and finding a new purpose in life.

The first season ended with a big cliffhanger. Moreover, we had to wait for three years for the second season to arrive. So, if you are as excited to watch what happens next as I am, it won’t be surprising.
