Uraraka and Midoriya will date in the future – they are definitely the end game of MHA. Horikoshi indicated the possible couples through multiple hints and clues. The hints suggest that Uravity and Deku will be an actual couple by the final chapter.
Hints and Clues: Uraraka and Midoriya
Ochako is the first person Midoriya meets during the U A entrance exam. He immediately saves her from the 0-point robot and they become good friends.
She makes the name ” Deku” positive for him. For years, Midoriya was abused and called Deku, which was meant lower by Bakugo and his classmates.
Uraraka on the other hand, tells him that the name sounds like ‘You can do it’ and makes it an overall positive thing for him. Midoriya goes on to use Deku as his hero name.
Ochaco deeply admires him and strives to be like him. As we see during the U A festival, when she has to fight Bakugo, she keeps thinking about what Deku would do if he was in her place.
Ochaco gets jealous when Mei gets close to Deku. She also gets very embarrassed when someone asks her about her feelings towards Deku.
She is also seen constantly blushing every time she is in the same space as Deku. She finally admires her romantic feelings for herself when she feels super jealous of seeing him with Camie.
She realises that she greatly admires Deku for his determination, and decides to temporarily shut off her feelings. This is because she doesn’t want her feelings to come in the way of her becoming a pro-hero.
Even after deciding to shut off her feelings, they keep resurfacing many times. After witnessing Izuku lose control of Blackwhip, she gets back in control.
Does Midoriya like Uraraka?
Midoriya is not very interested in romance at this point, he does not have time for it. He is completely focused on improving himself and being a better hero.
As of now, we do not really know Midoriya’s feelings about Uraraka. He definitely respects her and enjoys her company. He also seems to be highly protective of her and blushes furiously in her presence.
They were each other’s secret Santa and exchanged gifts with happiness. Ochaco gave Mochi Chips to him while he gave her an All Might keychain.
However, Deku doesn’t ever think about Uraraka in a romantic aspect and only considers her a good friend.
He is also very dense when it comes to romance. He has not yet realized her feelings towards him.
But maybe in the near future, it is possible that Deku realises her affection and finally date Uraraka.
