Garp is undoubtedly one of the greatest powerhouses in the world. He was the only one who could stand on equal footing as Roger and was quite legendary! However strong he might be, there was no real show of his ability in the show until now.

In Chapter 1080, we finally get to witness Garp use one of his attacks called  ‘Galaxy Impact’ which was able to destroy an entire town. This extreme display of power has got fans questioning how strong he exactly is!

The Marineford incident strikes a major debate where fans mostly wondered if Garp could have taken down Akainu. While most people believed that Garp could have taken Akainu down, others believed that his old age would have been a limiting factor.
