The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess is a hilarious upcoming fantasy anime that follows the story of Komari, a shut-in vampire who tends to enjoy the comfort of herself. She is well like any other introvert looking to avoid social interactions as much as possible.

Unfortunately, her steady and peaceful life ends when she is appointed as the army commander. Her army is full of hostile hooligans who refuse to accept her as the leader as she doesn’t consume blood. Komori has to prove her worth as a leader, which ensues some hilarious scenarios.

The official website of “The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess” unveiled the first promotional video and visual for the anime. The promotional video reveals and previews the anime’s ending theme song, “Nemurenai feat. Kusunoki Tomori ” by MIMiNARI.

The promotional video gives us a little insight into the life of Komari, who was born into a noble lineage but lacks confidence. She keeps to herself until a maid appears in her life.

The appearance of this new person changes many things in her life. The maid seems to be obsessed with her. And they form an organic relationship as we see Komari slowly starting to rely on her maid.

The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess (Hikikomari Kyūketsu Hime no Monmon) is an adventure and fantasy light novel series written by Kotei Kobayashi and illustrated by Riichu.

It follows the story of Terakomari Gandesblood, Komari for short, a shut-in vampire who enjoys the comfort of her room. One unfortunate day, her comfortable life comes to an end when she’s made a commander of the Imperial Army. 

The problem is that her unit consists of violent hooligans who won’t recognize her as their leader, so Komari will now have to prove her worth with the help of her trusty maid, Villhaze.
