16bit Sensation: Join Uehara for an Eroge Adventure This October

16bit Sensation: Another Layer is a story of a talented artist who is forced to work as an assistant graphic designer and made to draw adult illustrations. The only problem is that Uehara has never drawn R-18 graphics but now has to make an erotic game.

With this begins the hilarious tale of Uehara trying to navigate the world of erotic games. The manga was a hit among the otakus due to perfectly timed erotic gags and themes. The anime adaptation was announced earlier this year, and the official website is back with more details.

The official website for 16bit Sensation: Another Layer, anime, revealed the cast, staff, visual, and opening theme song artist. The original anime will be released in October 2023.

The teaser visual has two versions: regular and 16-bit tiling versions. Both visuals feature the main character Konoha Akisato, in Akihabara in the 90s.

The anime will be produced by Silver Studio and directed by Takashi Sakuma. Here is the list of other staff members.

The anime’s opening theme song, “65535,” will be sung by Shoko Nakagawa, aka Shokotan, among fans. The CD single of the song is set to release in Japan on November 1, 2023.

While many might expect a lot of ecchi/adult scenes, the anime instead hits you with tons of knowledge about making a video game in the early 1990s. It’s a pleasant surprise. Most of the otakus will love it, so go ahead and give it a try.

16bit Sensation: Watashi to Minna ga Tsukutta Bishōjo Game is a comedy manga conceptualized by Misato Mitsumi, Tatsuki Amazuyu, and Tamiki Wakaki and illustrated by Wakaki.

The plot is set in 1992 and follows a talented artists and college student, Meiko Uehara. She begins as a part-timer in a PC shop which is a front for its actual business, an erotic game developer.

One day, the staff suddenly departures and Uehara ends up as a sub-graphic artist. The only problem is that Uehara has never drawn adult illustrations in her life before, but will now have to make an erotic game herself.
