Is Black Clover removed from Weekly Shonen Jump?

Yūki Tabata’s Black Clover has slowly become an excellent shounen series. This anime has gained multiple fans due to its exciting plot and character development.

The manga is in its final stages, and there have been some troubling rumors recently that Black Clover was about to go on an indefinite hiatus. Let’s find out more in detail about this situation.

Is Black Clover leaving Shonen Jump?

Recently, Asta was removed from the Weekly Shonen Jump banner line-up. This started rumors about an indefinite hiatus. With the leaks from the latest Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, it has been confirmed that Black Clover manga will be leaving Weekly Shonen Jump.

It is not going on a hiatus but will transfer to Jump Giga magazine. According to the leaks, Black Clover chapter 368 will be the last time the manga will be released in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

Later, the series will resume its serialization in Jump Giga in winter.

What is the new Black Clover manga release schedule?

The Black Clover manga is moving to the Jump Giga magazine after leaving Weekly Shonen Jump. Jump Giga is a quarterly magazine, which means we will only get four Black Clover chapters annually. Jump Giga will feature the climax of the manga’s final arc, the Ultimate Wizard King Arc.

While getting four chapters per year may seem brutal, the chapters now will be longer, more than 50 pages. Going from a weekly to a quarterly release will slow down the story’s momentum, but it will, in turn, increase the quality of the series. Of course, we can’t forget the much-anticipated: Lucius vs. Asta & Yuno battle!
