The trailer showcases the first meeting of Hinata and Kenma and then shifts to the fated garbage dump battle between Karasuno High and Nekoma High. It’s finally Hinata’s turn to keep his promise.

The footage also features a brief interaction between Hinata and Kenma during the fated showdown. Hinata talks about this match being a decisive battle, and there are no re-dos. Kenma smiles to acknowledge the statement.

This is an exciting showdown for fans primarily due to the long history associated with the schools. It will be interesting to see how the story develops.

The trailer, revealed during the “Final sequel film project at the Haikyu!! Festa 2023” event, announces the film’s director and writer. Susumu Mitsunaka (first, third Haikyu!! television anime) is directing and writing the script for the film.

The staff also revealed the film’s teaser visual. The visual features Hinata and Kenma, who are holding daggers. They seem ready for the battle, and the teaser looks pretty dope, not going to lie.

Everything seems perfect with this anime, and we don’t have to worry about the animation as the staff working behind the scenes are capable and talented. However, there is a snag: the pacing.

Fans believe the pacing would be messed up if they tried to cram the entire manga’s ending, about 110 chapters, into a two-part movie. The concerns aren’t baseless, as it would be challenging to get the pace right.

However, it’s too early to jump to conclusions about the movie. We need to wait for the next year to see if our favorite sports anime gets the ending it deserves.
