Asuka Konishi’s X account announced that Konishi’s Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii manga will get a television anime adaptation.
A teaser visual featuring Kirishima and the yakuza princess, Yoshino, has been released on the official Twitter account. We can see Kirishima making a heart while Yoshino is seen crossing her hands in a true gangster style.
In addition to the news about the anime adaptation, a promotional video was released commemorating Volume 8. Continuing from past PVs, Akira Ishida is playing the role of Kirishima, Koji Yusa as Shoma Toriashi, and Hiroshi Kamiya plays the role of Suo Aki.
The PV is available for a limited time until January 21, 2024.
The series is unique, and the story sucks you right in. The art style is distinctive. Yoshino is feminine and has a mature woman aesthetic, while Kishima’s tattoos deserve a fanbase.
The character personalities are the cherry on top, and the male lead goes beyond your typical yandere trope. He is a two-faced, unreadable masochist. And he drives changes within Yoshino. The romance between them is highly grounded but far from reality at the same time.
