Romance Manga “Ore Monogatari” to Return With Two New Chapters

“Ore Monogatari,” or “My Love Story,” is a beautiful shojo series that swept otakus off their feet. It focuses on the story of a mismatched couple. The original manga series ended in 2016, but the series previously returned for a side story in 2018.

After five long years, the manga series is back with a new addition to the franchise.

The December issue of Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine revealed that “My Love Story!!” manga will return with two brand new chapters. The chapters will be featured from the January issue of the magazine that will be out on December 13th.

According to the magazine, the new chapters will focus on the Winter break, where everyone gets a part-time job at a resort, but a mysterious mansion appears out of nowhere. The two chapters will focus on this strange mansion.

The authors of Ore Mononogatari, Kazune Kawahara, and Aruko have also worked on a two-chapter manga titled “Uso ka Makoto ka Yume ka Koi” in 2022.

Ore Monogatari is hugely popular in other countries as well, and it is also set to receive a Thailand live-action series in 2024.

Ore Monogatari was a story that featured unlikely and pure romance that managed to win the hearts of many otakus. And the fans cannot believe that this stunning series is making a return.  

It would be nostalgic and exciting to witness the interactions between the cute couple again.

About My Love Story

My Love Story!! is a Japanese romantic comedy manga series written by Kazune Kawahara and illustrated by Aruko. The manga was serialized. in Shueisha’s magazine from October 2011 to July 2016. An anime television adaptation by Madhouse aired from April to September 2015.

The story follows Takeo Gōda, a tall and muscular high school student whose appearance generally scares away women. However, this all changes when he saves Rinko Yamato, who falls in love with Takeo, beginning a unique love story.
