The success of the light novel was enough to inspire three seasons of anime. However, fans haven’t got enough and want to see more of Myne, and the producers are giving us exactly that.

Miya Kazuki’s Ascendance of a Bookworm “Biblia Fantasy” light novel series inspires a new anime from Wit Studio. The new anime will adapt Part 3: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke.

The anime’s third season ended in 2022 and focused on Myne’s adventures as a blue priestess apprentice. She protected all her loved ones while achieving her goal of creating a letterpress.

The new anime will focus on Part 3 of the novel as Myne starts her new life as Rozemyne, the adopted daughter of Ehrenfest’s archduke. Her days as an archnoble in a noble society are brutal and prove too much for her.

However, the High Priest offers her the keys to the temple’s book room as a reward, and her passion for books drives her to give her best.

No information about the staff or the cast has been released yet. The staff and the main cast are likely to remain the same for the next season as well, but we cannot guarantee anything until the official information is released.

About Ascendance of a Bookworm

Ascendance of a Bookworm is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Miya Kazuki and illustrated by Yū Shiina. It was serialized online between September 2013 and March 2017 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro.

 Urano Mototsu, a bibliophile and soon-to-be librarian, dies in an unfortunate accident. With her dying breath, she wishes to read books in her next life. Urano awakens in the body of a weak, five-year-old girl named Myne, the daughter of a poor soldier.

Her love for books follows her in this new life as well. However, Myne is reborn in a world where books are scarce and only available to elites. She decides to use her memories from her previous life to create and print books to read again.
