BL Manga ‘Given’ to Conclude at the End of March

Natsuki Kizu’s Given is the best thing to ever happen to the musical and yaoi genre. The story carefully navigates some sensitive themes that are personal to many people and beautifully presents them to us.

This charming story has been going on since 2013, but at last, all good things must end, and the same applies here.

The official Twitter handle for Shinshokan’s Cheri+ magazine has revealed that Natsuki Kizu’s Given manga will wrap up on March 30, 2023, in its next issue. It further stated that the manga’s conclusion would be bundled with an ‘important announcement.’

After you’re done crying over this announcement, you might want to think about what the important announcement can be. Are we getting a new anime, OVA, movie, or something else entirely?

While we do not know what it will be about, the topic is open to curious fans’ speculation. I’m pretty sure that the hardcore fans will soon come up with a theory that’s good enough to come true.

As for the manga’s plot, most of it has already been wrapped up since Kizu has already tied up many loose ends. The only thing left to do is to give the boys a happy ending and closure to their fans, who probably will have a hard time moving on.

Given is a manga that’s close to many people’s hearts due to the way it handles certain issues. Kizu has created a beautiful story that doesn’t conform to stereotypes and shows the lesser-known aspects of the LGBTQ community.

Its conclusion will be hard on people, but at least we have that mysterious announcement to look forward to.

Watch Given on:

About Given

Mafuyu’s song pierced his heart and made him want to find his love all over again. Both of them have unresolved pasts, so how will they help each other overcome it?
