The trailer, featuring Koyomi Araragi, has already racked up over 77 thousand views on YouTube in just under two hours. It offers a glimpse of his high school graduation and his story, which appears to have concluded but has not. The trailer also introduces a mix of familiar and new characters, leaving fans wondering whether the upcoming season is a prequel or sequel.

The ‘Off Season’ and ‘The Monster Season,’ are set to be season 4 and season 5 of the franchise, respectively. They are anticipated to continue the narrative from where the anime concluded with its last season in 2019.

Notably, ‘Monogatari’ seasons are typically subdivided into smaller story arcs, potentially leading to multiple releases within a single season. This structure allows a rich and varied exploration of the series’ complex world.

The ‘Off Season’ dives into a collection of captivating short stories throughout the ‘Monogatari’ timeline. On the other hand, ‘Monster Season’ follows the adventures of Araragi as he navigates college life.
