They have had the opportunity to craft a fitting conclusion for the series, as they were aware of its impending end. Showtime had already announced that season 7 will be the last season of Billions back in 2022.

The writers have aimed to resolve every plotline and deliver a satisfying finale for the fans next month. The Billions series finale is scheduled to air on October 29, 2023. However, while the series is coming to an end, it is not the end for the Billions franchise, which will continue through various sequels and spin-offs.

The Billions Franchise Will Continue

The Billions universe will continue to expand with four spinoffs, which Showtime ordered before the series finale of the original show. The four new shows will explore similar themes as Billions, but with different settings and characters. The four spinoffs are Billions: Miami, Billions: London, Millions, and Trillions.

Billions: Miami and Billions: London will follow the power struggles and financial intrigues of hedge fund managers and prosecutors in Miami and London, respectively.

Millions will focus on the aspiring financial moguls in New York City, who dream of becoming the next Bobby Axelrod. Trillions will have a more soap-like tone, depicting the lives and scandals of the ultra-rich and influential in the global economy.

The release dates of the spinoffs are yet to be announced, but they will offer fans more entertainment after the original series finale.
