Ricochet and Logan Paul: The Aftermath of Their Epic Stunt at MITB 2023

The WWE Money in the Bank 2023 event was full of surprises, shocks, and stunts, but none more so than the men’s ladder match that saw seven superstars compete for the coveted briefcase. 

Among them were Ricochet, the high-flying sensation, and Logan Paul, the social media megastar who made his WWE debut earlier this year.

The match was a chaotic affair, with ladders, tables, and even a cricket bat being used as weapons. 

However, the most jaw-dropping moment came when Ricochet hit a Spanish Fly on Logan Paul from off the top rope through a pair of tables, sending both men crashing to the floor. The crowd erupted in cheers and chants of “holy sh*t” as the two competitors lay motionless on the ground.

The Spanish Fly is a risky move involving wrestlers flipping backward mid-air and landing on their backs. It requires perfect timing and coordination, and even a slight mistake can result in serious injury. 

Ricochet is known for his aerial prowess and has executed the move before, but Logan Paul is not a trained wrestler and was taking a massive gamble by agreeing to take the bump.

Fortunately, Logan was able to get up and continue the fight, but Ricochet had to be carried off. 

According to sources, Ricochet suffered bruised ribs and a concussion from the stunt, but he is expected to make a full recovery soon. He is not cleared to compete yet, but he hopes to return to action in time for SummerSlam, where he might challenge Paul for the MITB briefcase.

After the event, Logan Paul showed off his injuries on social media, posting pictures of his bruised back and ribs.

The bruises look really painful, but Logan seems to be enjoying the challenge!

The match ended with Damian Priest winning the briefcase after hitting a Broken Arrow on LA Knight from off the top of a ladder. Priest now has a guaranteed opportunity to challenge for any WWE title of his choice within the next year.

It was a night that no one will ever forget, especially Ricochet and Logan Paul. They put their bodies on the line and delivered one of the most stunning stunts in WWE history, a Spanish Fly from the top rope through two tables. They also earned the respect and admiration of the fans and their peers, who applauded their bravery and skill. 

Ricochet and Logan Paul may not have won the briefcase, but they won something more valuable: a legacy that will last forever.
