Jack meets Chavez, who reveals that he wants to restart Pluto and get in contact with Chao, the head of operations of the Triad, who had a lot of dirt on the group and wanted out.
However, things get complicated when Walters (Michael Peña), another CIA agent behind Pluto, kills Miller and makes it look like an overdose. Chavez realizes that he and Jack are in danger and decides to team up with him to find Chao and expose Walters.
Next week, we can expect Jack and Chavez to continue their uneasy alliance and try to track down Chao, who is hiding in Myanmar after his failed attempt to merge with a Mexican cartel.
They will likely face obstacles from Walters, who will try to stop them at any cost, and from the Triad, who will not let Chao escape easily.
One of the biggest surprises of season 4 was the return of Cathy Mueller (Abbie Cornish), Jack’s love interest from season 1. In episode 3, we expect Cathy to have a more prominent role and possibly reunite with Jack.
The official synopsis states, “Jack is reunited with an old flame while on a mission in Myanmar.” This could be Cathy, who might be working in the country as a doctor.

The world is stunned by the news of President Udoh’s death, who was killed by an unknown killer in Nigeria. The CIA is under fire, but its new leaders, Wright and Ryan, are clueless if they are responsible. They discover that their former boss Miller had hidden nine covert operations under a cryptic code. Ryan tries to stop them all but doesn’t know the consequences.
In Mexico, a ruthless assassin named Chavez kills the leader of a rival drug cartel, giving his own boss Marquez an edge in the business. Marquez is about to partner with the Silver Lotus Triad, an influential Chinese crime organization supplying him with materials and support to make more drugs.
In return, the Triad will use Marquez’s network in America to carry out terrorist attacks.
Ryan is unaware that he has just ruined a master plan involving the Nigerian president’s assassination. The aim was to secure the Triad and Marquez alliance and sow discord and doubt in the CIA.
Ryan and Wright have to deal with the anger of the Senate, which wants explanations and justice from them. They vow to change the agency and make it more open and accountable. Ryan also has some happiness in his love life as he gets back together with his girlfriend, Cathy.

The first season follows the CIA analyst as he discovers a string of dubious bank transfers carried out by a rising Islamic extremist named Suleiman. The second season sees Jack in the middle of political warfare in a corrupt Venezuela. The third one will see Jack on the run and in a race against time.
Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland created the series, and Cuse serves as an executive producer alongside John Krasinski, Michael Bay, and Mace Neufeld, among others. Krasinski also stars in the series as the title character.
