Everything You Need to Know about the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 Schedule

To all the Epic Dope nerds out there, the San Diego Comic-Con is back, and there are some exciting panels in the itinerary!

The San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is typically one of the biggest events of the year, and juggernauts of the industry like Marvel Studios, DC Studios, Lucasfilm, Warner Brothers, and many more use the occasion to announce their next great adventure in the entertainment world. This year, it will be held from July 20-23.

However, there is some bad news before we dive into the good stuff. We are all aware of the current tumultuous state of Hollywood, with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes making headlines everyday. This has seen many big players pull out of the SDCC this year, including Netflix, HBO, Disney, Sony, Universal, and above all, Marvel.

Despite these roadblocks, we expect the SDCC to be brimming with excitement and news about the upcoming creatives. Check out the full schedule of panels attending the Comic Con, as well as those that might get canceled due to the strikes below:

Understand that the list is tentative as the situation Hollywood is facing right now is very critical. Any writers or actors mentioned below might pull out after the time of writing because of some unforseen incident concerning the WGA or SAG-AFTRA strikes.

As part of team Epic-Dope, we are in full support of fair compensation demands and respectable working conditions for the writers and actors, without whom the industry wouldn’t exist!
