Star Wars Ahsoka Episode 5 Recap & Speculation: Ahsoka Meets Anakin!

This week’s episode ends with a shocking cliffhanger that takes us across a rollercoaster nostalgia ride. Yes, I am talking about the reunion of Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker!

After a fierce duel with Baylan Skoll and her mercenaries, Ahsoka is thrown off a cliff and is seemingly killed. However, she wakes up in a mysterious place that looks like the World Between Worlds and is greeted by none other than her former Jedi Master, Anakin!

This is a massive surprise for us fans, as Anakin’s return was unexpected!

The last time we saw Anakin and Ahsoka together was in Star Wars Rebels when Ahsoka faced off against Darth Vader on planet Malachor.

So, what can we expect after this? Let’s take a deep dive into the Star Wars world and try to predict Ahsoka Tano’s path from here on

Next week’s episode will explore the emotional reunion of Anakin and Ahsoka, who have not seen each other since the Clone Wars. We will surely see some flashbacks to their past adventures and many emotionally surcharged sequences about their choices and regrets. I also hope to see some closure in their relationship, as Ahsoka has always struggled to cope with Anakin’s betrayal and Vader’s redemption.

The episode will also reveal more about the World Between Worlds. We don’t know much about this mysterious realm besides that it was in Star Wars Rebels.

We might learn more about how it works, who can access it, and its purpose. I am hoping for other iconic cameos in episode five, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, or even Palpatine!

Finally, episode 5 will set up the sequence for the final half of the season, i.e., the chapter concerning Ezra Bridger and Thrawn! As we see in episode 4, Baylan Skoll manages to transmit the coordinates of Thrawn’s location to Morgan Elsbeth. I expect to see Ahsoka and Sabine team up again to stop Thrawn and rescue Ezra.

However, is Ezra even on Ahsoka’s side? Or has she already been corrupted by Thrawn? The possibilities are endless!

In episode 4, Ahsoka and the team face an assault from Skoll’s minions, but they fend them off. Worried that Skoll will get the coordinates to Thrawn’s location, Ahsoka and Wren make their way to his base, but Hati and Marrok block their path. Ahsoka kills Marrok and proceeds alone, while Wren stays back to fight Hati, who discovers that Wren has no Force abilities.

Ahsoka confronts Skoll, and they clash in a fierce duel. Ahsoka manages to grab the map but throws it away after it scalds her hand. Skoll gains the upper hand and sends Ahsoka into the sea as Wren looks on in shock. Wren then points her gun at the map, but Skoll persuades her to give it up by offering her a chance to see Bridger again.

After revealing Thrawn’s location, Skoll destroys the map and takes off with Hati and Wren as his captive. A squad of New Republic fighters, led by Syndulla, shows up at Seatos and tries to stop the freighter from escaping into hyperspace, but they are too late.

Meanwhile, Ahsoka wakes up in the “World Between Worlds,” where she meets her former Master, Anakin Skywalker.

6. About Ahsoka

Ahsoka is an American limited series developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni for Disney+.

It is part of the Star Wars franchise and a spin-off from the series The Mandalorian, taking place in the same timeframe as that series and its other interconnected spin-offs after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), while also serving as a continuation to the animated series Star Wars Rebels.

The series follows Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to the galaxy following the fall of the Empire.
