Star Wars Ahsoka Episode 6 Recap & Speculation: Anakin Darth Vader

The fifth episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka, titled “Shadow Warrior,” leaves fans with a barrage of emotions and questions. The episode, screened in select US theaters, features the long-awaited reunion of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) in the mysterious World Between Worlds.

We also see Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) being lured away by Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) and his apprentice Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno), who promised to reunite her with Ezra Bridger (Evan Whitten).

Meanwhile, Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee), and Huyang (David Tennant) try to find Ahsoka and Sabine, with the help of Hera’s son Jacen (Eman Esfandi) and Chopper.

The episode ends with Ahsoka choosing to live and returning to the real world, where she is rescued by Hera and Carson. However, Sabine is nowhere to be found, and Baylan and Shin have escaped with a piece of the map leading to Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), the series’ main antagonist.

Will the resurrected Ahsoka Tano be able to stop the titanic Thrawn attack on the horizon? Let’s find out!

1. Episode 6 Synopsis/Speculation

1. Ahsoka’s Pursuit of the Map to Thrawn

In next week’s episode, Ahsoka will not waste any time and go after Baylan and Shin, who have betrayed her trust and taken Sabine hostage. Ahsoka is determined to rescue her friend and recover the map fragment, which is vital for finding Thrawn and stopping his plans.

However, she will not be alone in her quest, as she will have the support of Hera, Carson, Huyang, Jacen, and Chopper. Together, they will try to track down Baylan and Shin’s ship and follow them across the galaxy.

2. Baylan and Shin’s True Colors Will be Revealed

Baylan and Shin are more than just hired goons. They are part of a hidden agenda that involves Thrawn and Sidious, the dark lord of the Sith. They serve the Chiss Ascendancy, a mysterious faction of blue-skinned aliens from beyond the galaxy.

The Chiss have allied with Thrawn and Sidious to face a greater danger: the Yuuzhan Vong, a savage horde of invaders from another realm. Baylan and Shin aim to find Ezra Bridger, a Force-sensitive rebel who can lead them to Thrawn and Sidious.

However, they also have a grudge against Ahsoka Tano, who they hold responsible for their past tragedies during the Clone Wars.

All these will be uncovered in the next episode. Will Ahsoka be able to stop these ruthless savages who are desperate to see the end of her by any means?

3. Sabine Will Escape and Reunite with Ezra

Sabine Wren is not a helpless damsel in distress. She is a fierce Mandalorian warrior and a skilled artist, who has proven herself in many battles in the past.

Sabine will not give up easily and will try to escape Baylan and Shin’s captivity. She will also try to communicate with Ezra Bridger.

The big question is whether Ezra will be on her side. Time does miraculous things to a person, especially when one has someone as manipulative as Thrawn for company. However, I believe that will not be the case!

Sabine will discover that Ezra is indeed alive, but he is in a dire situation. He is being held prisoner by Thrawn and Sidious, who are torturing him for information about the Force and the Yuuzhan Vong.

Hopefully, Sabine will free Ezra from his captors, but they must face Thrawn and Sidious in an ultimate face-off near the season finale!

4. The Ultimate Shock!

Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker | Source: IMDb

My most shocking prediction for episode 6 is that Anakin Skywalker will return as the infamous Darth Vader. Anakin’s appearance in episode 5 is not just a nostalgic cameo or a hallucination. It is a foreshadowing of his inevitable return to the dark side.

Anakin’s conversation with Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds is a test of his loyalty to the Force and his former apprentice. Anakin fails the test by drawing his red lightsaber and trying to kill Ahsoka. This act of aggression will trigger his transformation into Darth Vader, who has been waiting for an opportunity to escape from his prison in the World Between Worlds.

He will emerge from the portal and join forces with Thrawn and Sidious, who have been manipulating him from behind the scenes.

Darth Vader will face Ahsoka in a final duel, mirroring their confrontation in Star Wars Rebels. Ahsoka must choose between saving her former master or killing him once and for all.

These are some of my predictions for Star Wars: Ahsoka episode 6. Of course, these are just speculations based on the previous episodes and the existing lore of the Star Wars universe.

The episode may surprise us with unexpected twists and turns, as creator Dave Filoni is known for his unexpectedly meandering storylines.

Whatever happens, we can expect episode 6 to be an epic cocktail of emotions and action, which will set the stage for the final episodes of the season. Don’t miss it!

In this week’s episode, Ahsoka’s fate is unknown to her friends, who search for her with the help of Jacen Syndulla. He feels Ahsoka’s presence in a mysterious realm beyond time and space, where she faces her former master, Anakin Skywalker. Anakin tells Ahsoka that he has been watching her through the Force and blames her for leaving him on the dark side.

He challenges her to a duel, which she loses, and forces her to relive painful memories of the Clone Wars. Ahsoka rejects Anakin’s twisted teachings, saying she will not let the past hold her back. She fights him again, this time with more confidence and skill, and defeats him.

She realizes that she is not responsible for Anakin’s fall and chooses to live on. Syndulla’s crew rescues Ahsoka but soon learns that the New Republic wants to arrest them. Ahsoka decides to leave with the help of the Purrgil, while Syndulla stays behind to face the consequences of her actions.
