Cutscene leaked for Halo Infinite Season 3: Echoes Within

Halo Infinite has been troubled with several issues since its launch in November of 2021. Microsoft’s layoffs saw staff of 343 Industries’ getting impacted.

Recently, a YouTube channel named “ISO Leaks” has leaked a cutscene to an upcoming narrative event dubbed “Sight Unseen”. The leaked clip is about 3 minutes long, featuring super soldier Hieu Dinh and Iratus along with what seemed to confirm previously leaked Infected in Halo Infinite; the event is set to take place between May 2 to May 16.

The new season, Season 3, was launched on March 7th, 2023, also the latest big update to the game. A number of additions were noted in the IP with the latest update.

The new season boasts of three new maps, a new weapon and addition of the Shroud Screen. There was also a community collection playlist, where players could access community-created maps, using editor Forge, which is still in beta.

According to developers, the map editor, Halo Infinite’s Forge Beta, had managed to cross the six-figure mark with 1 million creations.

The new Season’s first narrative event, “Mindfall” is scheduled to run up to March 21st. Thus, the developers have been able to hold the attention of an ever-evolving set of audiences with new content.

While the future of the Halo franchise hasn’t been cleared out yet beyond Echoes Within, many fans hope Season 3 marks a turning point for Halo Infinite. The scarce amount of content has been a cause of concern.

The once flagship IP has seen so many roadblocks in recent years that it needs a fresh breath of life, and it hopes the reception is good despite being plagued by leaks.

Despite all the negatives, fans of the franchise have a lot to look forward to with new content and a leak-confirmed that the narrative is set for the future.

Halo Infinite is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios.

It is the sixth entry in the series and serves as a re-imagining of the franchise, with new features, mechanics and gameplay elements. As for the story, it is going to be a direct continuation of Master Chief’s story from Halo 5: Guardians, in his “greatest adventure yet to save humanity!”

The game was originally cited to be released alongside the upcoming Xbox Series consoles but has since been delayed to 2021.
