Genshin Impact has a very strong base of enthusiasts and leakers who continue giving the fans much-needed updates, despite the developer HoyoVerse taking legal action. Version 3.6 is set to come out next week.
The new version boasts two new characters and many new promised goodies; leakers have provided new updates for upcoming seasons. Version 3.6 should see Ganyu Weapon banner: Amos, 3.7 should see Kirara Dendro, a 4-star character, 3.8 will have no new characters, and it’ll be Eula Rerun, and 4.0 will feature two new characters.
It is well known in the community that 4.0 will bring in the era of the Fontaine region, which is closely associated with the Hydro Element. It is a hub of culture and is thought to have been inspired by 19th/20th century France and continental Europe.
One of the most notable leaks for the coming seasons was the introduction of 4-star Dendro user “Kirara”, initially reported as “Momoka” in the game’s codes found by data mines.
As per similar data mining efforts, Momoka is a cat-themed 4-star Sword user. She will wield a catalyst and plant powered Dendro Magic. One of her specialties includes “grant climbing freedom”.
While there’s nothing much more concrete known about her appearance or abilities, the early concept art has very likely changed.
The two promised characters for Version 4.0 are majorly unknown, with speculation that Fontaine will eventually get as many as seven 5-star females and two male 5-star characters.
Probably, twins Lynette and Lyney, who have been teased for a long time now, will finally be introduced as playable characters. According to the same leaker, “Uncle A”, one of the villainous Eleven Fatui Harbingers, “Arlecchino,” will find a playable introduction in 4.0 after being featured in a teaser trailer.
The other probabilities are Wriothesley, Neuvillette, Focalors, Blonde Woman, Captain R, Sandrone, and very likely 5-star Liyue, as per Reddit user u/Manne_12.
Even though these are leaks, Genshin leakers take their jobs very seriously, and these leaks are more or less very close to the truth.
