Ubisoft is attempting to revive the Assassin’s Creed franchise after they moved away from the stealth elements in the RPG-esque titles of Odyssey, Origins, and Valhalla. Fans called for the reintroduction of stealth element like the OG Assassin’s Creed titles.
One of the upcoming titles in the Assassin’s Creed franchise by Ubisoft is the VR title Assassin’s Creed: Nexus.
In the VR Meta Showcase, fans noted and solved a couple of binary strings by “Access the Animus” community members and cracked the code to reveal the birthdates of Ezio from AC1, Connor from AC3, and Kassandra from AC Odyssey, hinting that these characters could possibly be playable in AC: Nexus.

Apparently the three binary strings work as commands to fetch genetic memories identified by numbers.

In the VR Meta Showcase, the binary strings translated to “Fetching memory data genetic memory string oX” followed by a series of numbers.
Members of the “Access the Animus” Community, including TheEagleBearer, Sky, Dwarf, L3vinu and Pascalpalace, worked in unison to crack the code to reveal a series of numbers.
The numbers, in turn, translated to birthdays which correspond directly to Ezio, Connor and Kasssandra’s birthdays. It is speculated that these characters will be playable to some extent in AC: Nexus.
While it’s a wild shot in the dark, these birthdates likely are what the numbers translate to. What convinced the entire team the most was Kassandra’s Birthday.
Very little is known about her birthday, and the code nullifies it with the right numbers at the right time. What the game has to offer is yet to be seen from a gameplay standpoint.
It was mentioned earlier that past characters of the franchise would be playable in this VR-based gameplay. It is speculated that the gameplay will be parkour and combat-centric, with the fans having the power of the animus in the VR Headsets.
With Ubisoft pulling out of E3 earlier this year and announcing its own showcase event – Ubisoft Forward–Nexus is expected to feature in it. Scanning through genetic memories, players can relive the memories of the Assassins in a brand-new way.
