The latest patch for Elden Ring fixes several minor issues

Elden Ring’s last announced expansion pack was the “Shadow of the Erdtree.” It has been quite a while since there was any news on that front.

Recently, developers FromSoftware have released patch v1.10 for Elden Ring that introduces several changes. It addresses balancing issues along with nerfs to some of the skills available in the game. Critical Hit damage has been increased overall, along with other changes.

These changes apply to players on all platforms – PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam. The changes include PvP-exclusive balance adjustments.

This includes increased poised damage by all weapons and several spells and incantations. There is also an increased poise when attacking with some skills and spells enabled or equipped.

Some types of weapon attacks regenerate poise. There is an added damage reduction when performing attacks with some spells, skills, or incantations enabled.

Critical hit angles have been relaxed now. The developers have also decreased the invulnerability window of the Quick Step and Hound’s Step skills, including reduced damage by some skills, incantations, and items.

Addressing general adjustments, it was mentioned that critical hit damage had increased. Subsequently, the recovery time after a missed critical hit has been decreased.

The poise damage by attacks has also been increased after missing a critical hit. Minor bug fixes include adjustment to player damage animation so that the attack direction is not unintentionally shifted while attacking with some specific weapons.

These weapons include certain types of weapons that regenerate poise. Another bug that has been addressed is the one that prevents some spells and incantations from causing damage under the effect of some skills and items.

Another bug was rectified that caused the effects of the Sacred Order skill to continue after switching weapons. Other minor changes include corrected text in specific languages.

While this patch does not bring any additional content to the game, it fixes the minor issues that hamper the iconic and renowned gameplay of Elden Ring. Shadow of the Erdtree is expected to release later this year.
