Assassin’s Creed modding community has developed numerous concepts in the past. Only a couple of them have been completed.
The Assassin’s Creed Victory Project mod, created by ACVictoryProject, makes many changes to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. It makes significant changes to the city of London in the game, including changes to weather conditions and modifying the characters, music, and dialogue.
As per the mod’s page, it is mentioned that the Victory Project alters the mood of the game as a whole.
The game, set in London before the Second Industrial Revolution, was a pleasurable experience in its own right. It portrayed London for what it was – too much pollution, people, and crime everywhere.
The mod, however, makes London darker and moodier. This brings it closer to the actual London of those days. The soundtrack is also completely new and reworked, which makes it more fitting for the dark Victorian England period.
The dialogues have also been reworked to make the protagonist more serious. The back-and-forth banter between the protagonists, Evie and Jacob, made the game somewhat upbeat and comical.
The mod’s author aimed to fix this part to give the game a more serious vibe. Unfortunately, the modder decided to quit to focus on their mental and physical health.
They presented the unfinished product because much effort went into it. Many planned changes to the base game have yet to be made. This keeps it from being the complete Assassin’s Creed Victory Project Experience.
Only a single protagonist is seen in the Victory Project mod, which was the developers’ intention when developing Syndicate. Evie was planned to be in the mod but as a different character. However, this still needs to be completed too.
Regardless, the mod gives a closer feel of London in the Industrial Revolution days and can be downloaded from Nexus Mods. Enthusiasts can tinker with the files and mods to get a revamped Assassin’s Creed Syndicate experience until Assassin’s Creed: Mirage launches on October 12th, 2023.

The ninth main instalment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise couldn’t be any more gripping than Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The story is set in 1868 London and follows the tale of twin assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye, as they plot to eliminate the hold of organised crime and regain control from the Templars.
It was developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. Although the foundational premise of the game remains true to the whole series, the exclusive side missions and character introductions let you capture the essence of the Victorian era.
