The closed beta for Ubisoft’s ambitious open-world mobile game, Assassin’s Creed Jade, is currently live, beginning August 3rd, 2023. Only a select few lucky players have received the invite.
Youtuber JorRaptor, going by @Jorraptor on Twitter, has revealed screenshots of Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in the closed beta testing. The players will fight alongside Kassandra in the Assassin’s Creed Jade Tutorial.

During the tutorial, Kassandra shows up for the first 15 minutes of the game. She has not been spotted beyond the tutorials yet.
For those who have not played Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Kassandra obtains the Staff of Hermes towards the end of her story. This grants her the gift of immortality.
This could be an explanation as to how she is spotted in timelines that are not her own.
Her appearance in Assassin’s Creed: Jade is not Kassandra’s first cameo. She appeared earlier during a crossover event in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
The footage, which is no longer available, reveals a genuine open-world experience in Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade. The game’s new protagonist, Wei Yu, is shown navigating missions across China.
As seen, the gameplay is immersive and deep and features fast-paced combat with weapon swapping, stealth investigations, skill-tree upgrades, and freeing settlements from the occupying enemy forces.
As seen in the videos, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade is a step forward in modern mobile gaming. Developers Ubisoft and Level Infinite have reaped the most out of it. They have managed to craft a game that bridges the gap between the Assassin’s Creed franchise and the limitations of mobile platforms.
The release date for Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade cannot be far away, given the complete voice acting and gameplay seen in the videos.
However, with the release of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage soon approaching on October 12th, Ubisoft might have a few other changes to make before it releases Codename Jade in the final quarter.
