Grand Theft Auto VI leaks have been doing rounds on the internet for quite a while. Having been in development for almost ten years, fans are hyped for the game, leading to many speculations.
Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has recently mentioned in an interview with CNBC that the fiscal year 2025, running from April 2024 to March 2025, will be an inflection point, and they are expecting USD 8 billion in net bookings, which is when Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to release.
Zelnick had earlier hinted that GTA VI would launch before March 2025. This practically confirms a release window for GTA VI.
It was also mentioned that GTA VI will be the biggest and “most profitable franchise in entertainment history.” Their three-part plan comprises being the most creative, innovative, and efficient studio that would make GTA VI highly profitable.
Numerous sources have reported that GTA VI will be one of the most expensive games ever made, with almost USD 2 billion going into making the game whenever it is released.
A video leaked by a reputed leaker, whose account has been suspended, reveals that GTA VI will bring “Dynamic Weather Systems” to the iconic Vice City.
There will be a wide variety of weather scenarios. Given the immersion the developers want to bring to GTA VI, it is expected that the weather will have an impact on the gameplay.
Fans expect realistic weather environments to visit GTA VI’s Vice City, which is based in Miami. Thus, one can rule out snowstorms and freezing conditions.
It will be interesting to see hurricanes and other tropical storms characteristic of a coastal city like Miami. Rockstar will have to come up with a creation of their own to make this happen when the game is released two years later.
