Bethesda Releases Minor Hotfix for Starfield, Asks Fans for Feedback

The response to Bethesda’s first new IP in over 25 years, Starfield, has been mixed. For every fan claiming that it deserves a game of the year, there’s another who suggests that the game is a 7/10 at best.

Starfield’s developers, Bethesda, are listening to the community and have announced a small hotfix – Update Version 1.7.29. They will target a few top issues, including improved stability related to Xbox Series X|S installations and minor fixes to three quests.

The minor changes announced will improve the stability and performance improvements of the title. This would reduce crashes and also improve the framerate.

The quest “All that Money Can Buy” has been patched to prevent the issue wherein a player activity could block the quest. Another quest, “Into the Unknown,” was cured of the point where the quest would not appear after the game had been completed.

The third quest that was fixed is “Shadows in Neon,” where a particular player activity could block the said quest.

The developers thanked the community for their feedback and support. They reassured the fans that they would support the game “for years and years to come.”

  6. Adding an “Eat Button” for consuming food in-game

Their trademark, built-in mod support named “Creations” is expected to launch in the final quarter of 2023 or the first quarter of 2024.
