Diablo IV seasonal characters are headed for Eternal Realm soon

Earlier this year, developers Blizzard had confirmed that Diablo IV players will have to create new characters each season. The realization is kicking in for many people as Season One of Diablo IV draws close.

When Season One of Diablo IV ends on October 17th, players will have their seasonal characters moved to the “Eternal Realm” with their items and crafting materials. All items in the character’s stash will be transferred into a new “Withdraw-only” stash/chest, accessible only from the Eternal Realm.

However, players must remember that these items will be accessible only until Season Two of Diablo IV ends. After that, they will become “unrecoverable.”

Blizzard has also assured fans that their Renown will carry over to all current and future characters. This ensures that all those hours spent discovering the overworld and running amok for side-quests are not in vain.

The developing studios warned that Malignant Hearts will not carry over. However, since they were seasonal, it would not be required or matter in the future seasons.

Similar to Malignant Hearts, there will be a Season Two “Season of the Blood” with special Vampiric Powers. This will be accessible only by Season of Blood characters.

Many players who were complaining about the leveling process being a painful one can rest easy now. Blizzard has confirmed that the process of leveling up to level 100 will now be up to 40% quicker.

The developers also worked hard to tweak Diablo IV’s Nightmare Dungeons for a smoother experience. The most significant change is that players can change to skip the campaign mode in the Season of Blood.

Blizzard clarified that the skip can only be accessed after completing the “Missing Pieces quest from the Prologue on the Seasonal Realm.” This allows the player to get straight into Season of Blood’s Vampiric Powers with Gemma Chan’s Erys.

The launch of the new season is almost upon us. The Season of Blood will mark a new questline for players to unravel the mysteries, along with a slightly easier grind up to the top and a more rewarding system. The Diablo IV community is looking forward to the release.
