GTA VI leaker reveals that PC version will come after console versions

Nearly ten years have passed since the release of the last Grand Theft Auto Title – GTA V. The upcoming title has been in development for quite a while and is a very well-protected project, barring a few leaks and hearsays with no official communication from Developers Rockstar Games.

Reputed insider Tez2 has revealed that the PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI is buggier than the console versions. This could lead to a potential delay in the release of the PC version.

This news is not surprising, given Rockstar Games’ track record regarding their big titles. All significant titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V have reached console players before it was released for the PC.

GTA V took almost two years to be released for the PC. Red Dead Redemption 2 came to the PC a year after its release on the PlayStation and Xbox.

The optimistic part of the GTA fanbase was hoping that Rockstar would be looking to change the trend with GTA VI. However, it does not look that great for PC players.

This, however, does not mean that a PC version is never coming. There are reasons to believe that a PC version would be essential for the success of GTA VI.

The amount of money invested by GTA in the RPG experience can truly be unleashed in state-of-the-art PC gaming rigs. There is also speculation that GTA VI will feature ray-tracing in some form.

While there’s no official communication on the GTA VI front, leaks, and constructive speculations put the release date somewhere around April 2025.

There are also suggestions that GTA VI will probably aim for the holiday season 2024. Another possibility is a release date similar to GTA V’s September window. Until Rockstar officially announces anything, all this will continue to remain speculations that must be taken with a pinch of salt.
