Alan Wake 2, a survival horror game with quite scary atmosphere, was released on October 27th. It has received a great response from the fanbase, who were eager to try out the new era of gaming technology that Alan Wake 2 promises to bring.
The developers, Remedy Entertainment, have released the patch notes for the first update to Alan Wake 2, just days after its release. The update targets Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC. The patch notes reveal that parity has been established across the PC, PS5, and Xbox Versions with the current update.

By parity, the developers mean that all consoles and PCs have applied the same bug fixes. This means there will be no localized issues characteristic of a particular platform.
A glance through the patch notes reveals that Remedy Entertainment is looking to improve the general stability of the game. This also shows that they listen to the community, giving constant feedback about the game.
The Xbox Series X|S received the patch update numbered 1.0.0.7, which fixes several bugs and localization issues. The previous update, numbered 1.0.0.4 for the Xbox, released on October 30th, targeted visual issues, UI-related issues, and a particular issue where players “could get stuck in interactions and not exit.”

For the PC, the patch number was 1.0.6. This, too, was targeted to fix bugs and localization issues. Some fans had complained about a hostile warning/ error message when third-party software stopped the game from starting. Remedy Entertainment has remedied the problem.
The PS5 did not have any significant outlying issues but just recurring bugs. This has been fixed in the patch number 1.00.05.
Some fans are also disappointed that the recently announced New Game+ mode has not been included in the update. However, it must be kept in mind that this mode is a work in progress and will arrive in early 2024, as per speculations.
Until then, players can try their hands out at Alan Wake 2 as Alan Wake or Saga Anderson in separate single-player stories.
