Grand Theft Auto VI trailer might be out by next week

Grand Theft Auto V has been around since the days of the PlayStation 3, and the current gen is PS5. After over a decade, the wait for the next Grand Theft Auto title might be over, it seems.

Bloomberg reports that Rockstar Games, a division of Take-Two Interactive Software, plans to release Grand Theft Auto VI’s trailer and announce the title as early as this week. It is suggested that developers around the title understand that the announcement is imminent.

The release date makes even more sense, given that Rockstar Games’ 25th anniversary is approaching next month. As a result, the company plans to publish the trailer for Grand Theft Auto by next month.

A logical possibility and guess would be around the holiday season when players and enthusiasts want to purchase new titles. The sources, however, chose to be unnamed as they did not have the authorization to speak about the title publicly.

This could be one of the biggest launches in gaming history, as no other title has held the attention on such a large scale for so long. Since a decade has passed since the last GTA title, memes have been doing rounds for a while now that the children of current players would get to play Grand Theft Auto VI on “PlayStation 60.”

The success that GTA V achieved looks to be a cakewalk for GTA VI, given its improved water physics, dynamic weather changes, and extensive overhauls to the weapon, character, and vehicle system.

This title could potentially overhaul the gaming industry, with no other company having the ambition or resources to pull off such a move.

GTA VI will be set in a fictional version of Miami. It will also feature two protagonists – a man and a woman, as per earlier leaks and data mines. We could have the most giant release trailer, and it’s not far away.
