This calendar is an exciting feature that can be included in future updates. The filing is under the category of a data processing system for commercial purposes.

This category includes administration, management, and consumer functionality. The critical point of the filing is the emphasis on “time management.”

Time management includes calendars, reminders, and meetings that can be accessed cohesively with the idea contained in the patent. The new calendar system will allow players to set reminders for upcoming game releases, subscription renewals, or store sales.

The calendar can also be used to schedule multiplayer gaming sessions with invites and ensure that no friends miss the Game Night.

Wishlists, Game Events, Sponsored events, and voice calls can also be scheduled with the help of the new calendar interface. The general overview of the windows was also shared in the form of sketch-ups.

The general layout is a calendar on the left half with dots marking events on the days. The right half consists of a list of events corresponding to the dates on the calendar.

With PS5 sales on the rise, Sony is looking to keep fans happy and not let the console go stale, as it still has a good few years to go until the release of the next PlayStation.
