Grand Theft Auto VI’s reveal trailer has been released after a decade-long wait since the previous title – GTA V- was released in 2013. While the date for the release of the trailer was revealed only a week ago, one fan in particular has an interesting theory.
Twitter user @GTANet has revealed that when players don the GTA V Anniversary Special top/ shirt, it has a sequence of numbers that, when converted to letters, says, “ONE DAY WILL REVEAL ALL.” Another user @_Dyllie_ revealed that the subsequence 04012523 contains two different dates it.

The first date that was spotted, i.e., 12523, resembles 12/05/23, i.e., 5th December 2023, when the reveal trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI was released. The second date that was spotted in the subsequence is 040125.
The “25” got the hamster in the brains of all GTA sleuths running. This hints at 04/01/25, i.e., 1st April, 2025. This will probably be the release date of Grand Theft Auto VI, which is scheduled for release in 2025.

According to rumors by industry insiders, Rockstar Games is expected to release the GTA VI in the first quarter of 2025. Given Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, whose fiscal year runs from April to March, this GTA Online Easter Egg might have some credibility.
The announcement that the title will be released in 2025 but no specific date attached meant that fans are scared that the title could be pushed back to the Holiday Season 2025, i.e., October/November/ December.
However, a Q1 release in 2025 will fulfill Take-Two’s estimates of about USD 8 billion in bookings 2025. As for now, players can watch the GTA VI reveal trailer, which is set in a fictional version of Miami called Vice City, with the protagonist Lucia and probably their partner.
