Sony has been pretty vocal about expanding its interests to entertainment adaptations. The company has established a separate division solely for this purpose. Reports have been going around the internet regarding new and upcoming TV and film adaptations of several Playstation games for some time now.
According to Twitch streamer Jeff Grubb, the TV adaptation of Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West could be called Horizon 2074.
The streamer explained,
The TV show as pitched right now is called Horizon 2074. It will split its time between the timeline of the game and the timeline of when things were beginning to fall. The idea is that this is not a reboot or a remake, or a reimagining of the games’ storyline. It will take place parallel and explain other elements that happened in the games. It sounds like Horizon 2074 could be filmed and set in Toronto, Ontario.

The show will be airing on Netflix, as confirmed by Sony.
Meanwhile, the God of War TV series will be available on Amazon Prime Video worldwide. As per rumors, it is pretty early in its production phase.
Playstation Productions is developing the Horizon 2047 show; Sony explicitly created the division for TV and film adaptations of Playstation games.
The studio opened strong this year with the Uncharted movie, which became a blockbuster hit among fans.
Their next exciting release is the TV series based on The Last of Us game, launched in 2013. The show features a stellar cast of Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, and Anna Torv, to name a few.
A Gran Turismo series is also in the works, which will focus mainly on track racing. The streaming platform for the show remains unknown.
As several adaptations mentioned are still being developed simultaneously, it might be quite a while before we see them on screens.
