You might remember racing on the tracks of Dubai, Hockenheim, Daytona, and more. Don’t fret even if you don’t since the game only came out almost five years ago.
Upon its initial release, the Forza Motorsport 7 was the talk of the town, with upgraded customization, high-end image upscaling, and more. But with time, the hype has eventually died down.
For the franchise fans, there might finally be some good news.
Twitter user @_Tom_Henderson_ claimed Forza Motorsport 8, the next installment in the series, will be released around Springtime next year.
The racing simulation game was unveiled at the Xbox Game Showcase in July 2020. However, no estimated release window was given by Xbox.
The earlier version, Forza Motorsport 7, came out quite a while ago. Since the franchise games usually launch within a few years, the noticeable delay might extend even further.
We don’t know much about Forza Motorsport 8, but the game is rumored to be closely inspired by the original edition of the franchise.
The game will feature the most advanced under-the-hood upgrade for simulation engines.
While the much-awaited Xbox exclusives Redfall and Starfield were shifted for a 2023 launch, the rest of 2022 looks dull, with only a couple of exciting titles releasing soon.
The First Look for Forza Motorsport 8 will be revealed at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, scheduled for 12th June, 10:30 PM IST. Fans will finally glimpse the tracks after a long wait.
