Userbenchmark Entry Reveals AMD’s New Ryzen 3 7320U Processor Specs

AMD’s next release is the lineup of next-gen CPUs, the Ryzen 7000 series. While the desktop series, codenamed ‘Raphael,’ is said to be based on Zen 4 architecture, new reports suggest not all variants will follow this rule.

The Userbenchmark website featured a new entry for AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 3 7320U processor.

This Ryzen 3 7320U CPU is likely based on architecture other than Zen 4 and Zen 3.

Reportedly, the CPU is based on Zen 2 architecture and features RDNA 2 graphics, FT6 socket interface, and quad-core configuration. A leaked slide has already confirmed the FT6 socket was listed for Mendocino.

The quad-core, 8-thread CPU has a base clock of 2.4 GHz and an average boost speed of over 4.1 GHz.

This specific configuration suggests a similar mobile device as the low-cost Mendocino APU.

AMD is known for integrating multiple architectures in one series, so it would not be surprising for this Ryzen 7000 APU to be based on Zen 2 architecture.

AMD Mendocino Slide

The Mendocino was first unveiled at the Computex keynote event. With the mobile APU, AMD promises a low-cost, high-power performance with long battery life.

The Mendocino APU is scheduled to launch by Q4 and the Ryzen 7000 series around October this year. Nevertheless, we expect the releases to be closely followed by one another.
