Campaign Co-op & Mission Replay Modes Coming to Halo Infinite in July

The Halo Infinite roadmap for 2022 gave an insight into upcoming developments for the game and mentioned that the 343 Industries studio would be “continuing work on Campaign Co-op..” This was all the information players were given about two months ago. Since then, there have been multiple delays and unconfirmed news floating around.

Finally, 343 Industries have confirmed that Halo Infinite Campaign Network Co-op will be available from the week of July 11.

The Co-op mode will allow up to four players to team up locally or on an online network. Players can be separated by up to 1000 feet, so there will be limitations to exploring the game’s semi-open world setting. The team will be updated on the overall campaign progress. Full crossplay is enabled.

Campaign Network Co-Op for Halo Infinite is on its way and you’ll soon be able to take the fight to the Banished with your friends and family in the upcoming flight, which is targeted to run from the week of July 11.

The Co-op update also comes with a new feature– Mission Replay.

Players can now replay Halo Infinite Campaign missions with their chosen difficulty level and an offer to activate any collected Skulls.

While the more open nature of the game posed a few challenges in setting up this feature, it was a given that this Halo tradition would also be carried on for Halo Infinite. John Mulkey, the Lead World Designer, explained,

Setting a mission to replay resets it and teleports you (and your fireteam) to the location to tackle the challenge. You are free to wander off to do something else, Fast Travel away, or resume your furthest main mission.
