Intel’s Core i9-13900K CPU Makes Its First Appearance on Geekbench

Intel’s flagship Core i9-13900K is a part of the Raptor Lake series, featuring 24 Cores. The CPU was tested on the ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme motherboard with an all-new Raptor Lake BIOS support.

A new leak featured Intel’s Core i9-13900K “Raptor Lake” CPU with 24 Cores on the Geekbench test.

Intel Core i9-13900K Leak

The Core i9-13900K measured base and turbo clocks of 3.0 GHz and 5.5 GHz, respectively. The exact frequency was reported in a leaked i9-13900K Engineering Sample 3. The CPU frequency occasionally boosted up to 5.7 GHz owing to Efficient Thermal Velocity speed.

The Geekbench system is facing timer issues. Hence, the CPU score for the i9-13900K should not be compared with other models.

Without considering any internal server issues, the Core i9-13900K is 7% faster in single-core and 37% faster in multi-core tests than the Core i9-12900K as per official rankings.

The i9-13900K features 24 cores with 32 threads and an increased number of Efficient cores. The CPU has an L3 cache of 36 MB, while the L1 & L2 cache configuration is about 32 MB, i.e., as per the previous Raptor Lake reports.

Intel’s Raptor Lake desktop CPUs are expected to launch sometime in October this year. The lineup will consist of K-series and non-K series variants.
