AMD’s Ryzen series offers top-notch desktop processors with advanced architecture, which allow users to experience seamless gaming. These devices also require a certain amount of maintenance which can be confusing.
Twitter user @1usmus announced a new version of the Hydra 1.2 OC software tool for AMD Ryzen CPUs.
The Hydra 1.2 is a design overhaul and supports upcoming Zen 4 architecture-based GPUs. The advanced program will be utilized for Ryzen CPU optimizations.
Here are some features of Hydra 1.2:
- Redesigned components
- New curve optimizer diagnostics
- Support for Zen 4 processors
- Increased flexibility for AMD PBO2 and HYBRID OC
- Automatic problem solving
- Automatic GPU tuning
- Unlimited GPU profiling
- Powerful new monitoring
- Enhanced safety
The Hydra 1.2 tool will also support optimizations for Radeon RX GPUs, featuring RDNA 3 graphics. The RDNA 3 architecture unlocks more overclocking capabilities. The software will control fan settings, CPU clock, voltage/power, and memory limits.
The Hydra 1.2 OC software is a one-app solution for AMD’s Ryzen and Radeon processors. The developer has also planned to launch the RX-Tuner, a feature specialized for tuning Radeon processors.
