AMD Plans Ryzen 7000 Announcement on August 29, Launch on September 15 

Earlier rumors suggested that AMD was planning to release the Ryzen 7000 series in Q3 of this year. According to sources, we might have an official date.  

AMD will most likely announce the next-gen Ryzen 7000 series on August 29. Two weeks later, the company will officially launch the new range of CPUs.

AMD’s CEO Lisa Su confirmed the dates during a Q&A session related to the company’s Q2 financial reports.  

The timeline is as follows: 

  • Ryzen 7000 Announcement – August 30, 2022 @ 5:30 AM IST  
  • Ryzen 7000 Reviews – September 13, 2022 @ 6:30 PM IST 
  • Ryzen 7000 Product Launch – September 15, 2022 @ 6:30 PM IST 

The reviews for Ryzen 7000 will be dropping two days before the launch. The gap leaves plenty of room for interested customers to make a decision.  

AMD will also be releasing the X670 motherboards on the same day as the Zen 4 CPUs. The motherboards will be discussed in depth at the Meet The Expert event scheduled for tomorrow.  

AMD Ryzen

AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series is based on Zen 4 architecture and RDNA2 graphics, featuring the new AM5 socket interface. The CPUs will deliver increased clock speeds up to 5.85 GHz.  

We can expect an official announcement from AMD pretty soon.
