Reddit User Posts Character Model for Odin in God of War Ragnarok

Santa Monica Studio recently dropped a teaser for Fenrir. Other than that, not much has been revealed for the God of War sequel. Fans are guessing Odin will also make an appearance, although it has not been confirmed how. A game trailer featured his ravens, but this is all that has been shown of Odin.

After numerous God of War Ragnarok leaks, Reddit user @AestheticGamer posted the concept art of Odin.

Concept Art of Odin

This is not official news, so this might or might not be accurate. Fans are divided on whether to believe this information.

Contrary to the legend and much to everyone’s surprise, Odin may be portrayed as a monk-like and fragile character. Kratos and Atreus may encounter him without believing he is the leader of the Norse Gods.

A basic storyline suggests that Kratos and Atreus try to prevent Ragnarok, and the story also involves Tyr, Fenrir, Angrboda, Freya, and Thor. God of War is only inspired by Norse mythology; the game has never strictly abided by the stories. So Odin’s rumored arc might just fit into the game’s actual storyline.

About God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok is an action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was released on November 9, 2022, for PS4 and PS5.

Ragnarok is the ninth installment in the God of War series, chronologically, and the sequel to 2018’s God of War. Loosely based on Norse mythology, the game is set in ancient Norway and features series protagonists Kratos and his young son Atreus.
