Pick a Free Game with Your Xbox Series S in New Microsoft Deal 

Microsoft’s Xbox Series S is a next-gen, disc-free, all-digital gaming console powered by a custom 512 GB SSD and integrated software. Just the console alone is listed for $290 on Amazon. 

Microsoft is offering a free game as part of a new Xbox Series S deal. Buyers can choose between Madden NFL 23, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Elden Ring, and more.  

The best choice is getting the newly released Madden NFL 23. Other retailers like Amazon and GameStop also have this listing, but Microsoft has the best pricing for $290. Madden NFL 23 costs $70, so buyers only have to pay $220 for the console, which is a money-saver deal.  

Saints Row is also featured in the promo, but the game does not release till next week on August 23rd. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is also a good option if one is looking for a family-friendly title with the Xbox Series S.  

Elden Ring, one of the top games of 2022, is only available on Amazon and GameStop as a Series S bundle. 

Games already included in the Xbox Game Pass are not that great as part of the deal since it drives up the price paid for the console.  

Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite are two of the best Xbox Series X|S games and are included in the Game Pass library. Whereas games like Far Cry 6, Red Dead Redemption 2, and WWE 2K22 are always available at discounted rates.  

To make the best of this deal, buyers should also get the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs $15 per month, but for the first month, you’ll only be charged $1. eBay is offering a three-month subscription for $32, which otherwise costs $45.  

The Game Pass library has several games, including every first-party Microsoft title on the very first day of release.
